"My four-year old son L was going for assessments at a number of Hong Kong’s top schools and I knew competition would be intense.  I brought L in to see Desmond because I felt that he could improve in the area of social interaction.  After working with Desmond in just two sessions of 45 minutes, L was better at looking people in the eyes, sitting up straight, and answering basic interview questions.  He even learned how to shake hands like a little gentleman when meeting the interviewer!

L was eventually accepted to Chinese International School and ISF Academy.  I'm glad he took Not Just The Right ForkTM's coaching sessions because apart from helping in the interviews, the basic skills he learned are fundamental to his development.  I would not hesitate to say that being polite and respectful are in many ways more important than learning a new sport or going for an extra Putonghua tutoring session.  Thank you, Desmond!

“Thank you so much for teaching me Western and Chinese table manners.  I thought it would be quite boring but it was actually quite cool.  So thanks again!”
